Writer | Thinker | Seeker of Wisdom|Life Time Learner
Welcome! I'm Pooja Mehta, a writer and lifelong learner of Bharat’s civilizational wisdom.
I was born to an Audichya Brahmin family with its inner most root from Kashi – Prayagraj, ages ago they settled in Halvad- Zalawad of Gujarat. My respected father, Dr. Dipakkumar V. Raval (Rtd. Physiotherapist from Amreli Civil Hospital) and Mother Shreemati. Achala D. Raval have contributed immensely in creating my identity. Right after my graduation I married to a Gentleman Mayur Mehta from my native place and cordially we started the journey of Grihasthashram! Our children Yaksh Mehta and Nivaa Mehta are our young inspirations who taught us to be Guru beyond the parenting.

(Here I is not my ego – but a healthy God gifted existence)
At the heart of my life’s journey lies Kala(Art) — the sacred(Ati Pavita)expression of creativity, sensitivity, and inner rhythm. Since my childhood I wanted to become narrator, where I had to have refined speech (Parishuddh Vani) and therefore I always aim to express my views with humility and tenderness. I consider everyone should aim to communicate with a soft voice and words. Delivering lectures to my dear students is not merely a profession, but a heartfelt act of sharing wisdom through Vaani — my voice, my energy, my offering. Alongside, my intense inclination towards music, writing, arts, and counsellingform the vibrant petals of my creative self, allowing me to connect deeply with the world around me. For me, Prakriti (nature) is Kala, and so am I, ever-evolving, expressive, and alive with divine inspiration. My Shakti, my divine energy, finds form through Vaani (speech), Kala (art), and Lekhan (the pen). Through these, I don’t just like to express — I like to serve, heal, and make people grow!
I engage self with reading and writing as much as possible! Writing came to me not as a skill to be mastered, but as a quiet way to grow myself, a space where thoughts could breathe and shape my emotions. While my academic path firstly Computer Engineer followed by data and knowledge engineering from England, working as an educator, I always found my moments with a book or a blank page, that I felt most aligned with myself.
I was drawn to writing as a way to make sense of the world I understand; not just the world outside, but the one within. Over time, it became less of a hobby and more of a profession: a sacred practice of reading, observation, reflection, and remembering what truly matters.
I believe success should not be measured by position, titles, or power, but by the quiet evolution of the self. True success lies in how we grow through our journey; from the innocence of our earliest beliefs to the depth and clarity of a matured understanding especially in terms of humanity, relationships and social behavior. It is about how honestly we present our self, how courageously we accept and confess, and how consciously we become better versions of who we once were. Only an aim to elevate !!
AGAIN A CANDID CONFESSION - A LITTLE DISCLAIMER !!
I am not a vedic scholar or philosophical practicioner, but I appreciate vedic living and humility in routine..It has to be everyday wisdom !!

Through my articles, I pen how the ages old ever-relevant insights of Vedic living can guide us in today’s complex world; whether it is parenting, cultural identity, or navigating social transformation.
My writing draws deeply from the origin of Vedic texts, Indic philosophy, Politics, literature, and Jyotish (Vedic astrology), not just as systems of knowledge, but as living frameworks that continue to shape how we think, feel, relationships, raise our children, and build society.
I believe that educating self, Marriage, earning, parenting is a blessed and sacred act, that culture is not just inherited but experienced and lived. My writing is a sadhana!! My personal and learned views of truth-seeking reflects in my ideas. Whether I'm reflecting on modern social dilemmas or uncovering layers of meaning in ancient verses, my purpose is simple: to spark awareness, restore continuity with our roots, and nurture clarity in the noise.
Through essays, reflections, and cultural commentary, I invite you to walk with me; not back in time, but deeper into it.
